Say what you will about Zbigniew Brzezinski, he was a serious man. I didn’t often agree with his ideas; but I usually perceived that he was working out of a sincere set of beliefs, not partisan hackery. So soon after his passing, his daughter’s cheap antics are ruining his name for decades to come. Plus, she has two brothers who are serious men and have served the U.S. government, one of whom is a Republican.
Back in the day when etiquette tried to keep people civilized, there was an official 6-month period of mourning for immediate family members.

Yesterday, an acquaintance was going on and on about “Trump’s Tweets”, when suddenly a torrent of words came out of my lips...that I had not intended at all, but to which she eventually agreed.
This is the essence of it:
For 8 solid years, the media, academia and Hollywood did the same thing to George Bush. They lambasted him, lied about him, forged false documents about him, made movies about assassinating him, did nasty comedy routines about him, falsely accused him, claimed he cheated the electoral process, called him a chimp, called him a Hitler, and did their best to undermine his presidency at the same time our nation was under attack and then at war.
I was constantly finding myself in the position of defending him, and being ridiculed for it.
Before President Bush disappointed me with his stance on the Border, and the unjust treatment of Agents Campion and Ramos (which was the last straw for me!), I lost friends, received hate mail, was cyber-bullied and threatened because I was DEFENDING the president when he NEVER seemed to defend himself! It became extremely frustrating, and after a while I started to feel a profound sense of betrayal.
On the other hand, President Trump goes right into the fray and says what we’ve been saying about the Left for as long as I can remember. I feel that “He Has My Back”, and as Lincoln said about Gen. Grant:
“I can use this man. He FIGHTS!”
Just my humble opinion, but the more the left attacks President Trump, and the more he fights back, the more I love him!
