Time magazine has asked the Trump Organization to remove copies of a fake cover of President Trump that were on display at the company’s golf clubs, The Washington Post reported Tuesday afternoon.
The request came after the newspaper reported that at least four Trump-branded golf clubs had displayed a fake Time magazine cover that depicted Trump with the headline “Donald Trump: The ‘Apprentice’ is a television smash!”
The cover, dated March 1, 2009, was never published by the magazine at any point, a spokeswoman for Time confirmed.

in Australia, all major MSM, including taxpayer-funded ABC have carried the story, yet virulently anti-Trump ABC hasn’t even reported on the FakeNewsCNN resignations, or the Project Veritas CNN exposes.
I was hoping all the clever freeper photoshoppers would create fabulous & fake Time, Newsweek, Network TV pages on Trump, with headlines MSM should have published, but didn’t, on Trump’s many accomplishments since becoming President. c’mon folks. Trump might even print them out and post them all over his Golf Clubs.
Plus, any and all "Fake News" stories they published about him.

This is a trap - remember that President Trump is not supposed to have any role in running the Trump Organization now. He should not express any opinion on the matter, just ignore the POS media. I know, I know, hard for him to do.... but if he gives any impression of instructing the Trump Org. one way or the other, then suddenly THAT will become the issue the Mediascum freaks out about.
After the 2006 issue where the person of the year was “You!” with a mirror on the cover, how can they complain about anyone making that claim?

Nobody takes that seriously. Everybody at my nephew's birthday party knew that he wasn't really on the cover of Sports Illustrated. It was all in good fun and I'm sure he has it framed and hanging on the wall in his house somewhere.
Of course, Trump was on the cover of TIME legitimately many times over the years. So why does he bother with making up yet more covers? Probably just to tweak and trigger certain people. And we all love him for it.

One would hope that the President doesn't see the need to manufacture another fake magazine cover. I'm at a loss as to why he saw the need to create this one to begin with. Hasn't he legitimately been on the covers of enough magazines already?
