Bahlsen is a German food company based in Hanover. It was founded in July 1889 by Hermann Bahlsen as the Hannoversche Cakesfabrik H. Bahlsen. Led by his grandson Werner Bahlsen, the company remains in family control. German politician Ernst Albrecht was CEO of Bahlsen in the 1970s and the press gave him the nickname, Cookie Monster.
Stop. You're making me hungry.
Check this familys past and its company past and for sure you will find your share of goose-steppers.
I do wonder why a cookie company needed forced labor during the war.

I wasn’t there, so I could be wrong. The Germans I knew would not have disrespected him.

from friends.
Travel to Europe has been slow lately.
Those luxury riverboat cruises have been slashing prices, I am on their mailing lists and prices are going down down down.

Thanks-—this would be a great summer to visit Europe.
My traveling days are over but I would definitely look into this if I were younger.
My granddaughter just spent 4 months in Europe, visited about 6 countries and loved it. No problems at all.

I know Germans and Dutch who are slowly liquidating assets in Germany and moving here to join relatives.
They are very wise. We’ll probably see an influx of French into Quebec if Trudeau allows it.

Given that the source of this was “The Hill”, I can easily consider that it may have been blown out of proportion, and it was only a very few that did it.

(Liberals are in a state of constant cognitive dissonance, which explains their mental instability.)
