Did Reagan make any effort to choose pro-life judges? I was just a kid back then but it doesn’t seem he was passionate about social issues. (Sandra Day OConner was one of several disasters)
He was absolutely vocally passionate during the 60s and 70s, but the RINOs must have fed him a lot of disinformation in the 80s, never mind that blatantly RINO VP of his. (When he wrote to Nixon in 1960 about JFK being “the same old Karl Marx”, I cannot imagine that he thought Nixon would govern as such a liberal as POTUS.)
