BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:45 A.M.) – A heroic Iraqi police officer saved dozens of lives in the Babel Governorate, today, after a would-be suicide bomber attempted to enter a mosque in the Musayeb District.
According to the Iraqi Ministry of Defense, the unnamed police officer hugged the suicide bomber before he could enter the mosque in the Al-Musayeb; this would obstruct the terrorist’s path.
The Ministry of Defense added that the police officer was killed after the suicide bomber detonated his belt – no other casualties were reported.
Prayers up for this man’s family for comfort and peace.
Brave man. I wonder if he knew he was dead or thought he could stop him.
Either way, very selfless thing to do.
This is exactly equivalent to what several Marines and soldiers have done in response to a grenade. He was a good and brave man.

The vast majority of Muslims are honorable people who would rather not be bothered by these homicidal maniacs...
Just unfortunate that understanding who is who is so challenging...
It would be easier if those who wish for this nonsense to stop would step up and stop it themselves... but given the repercussions they face... that too is not likely to happen...

BS. They applaud their actions, support them, and continue to lay claim that islam will dominate the world. They continue to read and follow their Koran that calls for that.

I doubt the people in the mosque were planning to applaud his actions. Muslims are the most frequent victims of terrorism.

I have known and worked with Muslims who were decent and honorable people.
That being said, the vast majority of them are WAY too quiet on the subject of terror. Perhaps its out of fear of the fate of relatives living in Muslim countries, but its not helpful. You can’t tell which ones are just afraid and which ones quietly approve.
And yes, there is no way to sort out the wheat from the chaff.
