I’m just saying that this was a crime, I agree...But, probably, because the boy consented, it is a victimless crime..

The woman will be prosecuted.

That is in accordance with the law.

If two high school kids hook-up, it’s two people on equal terms, unless the guy is two or more years older.

In some states a 17 year old could get in trouble for having relations with a 14 year old.

Should there not be any laws? Should we let adults have sex with any kid they can?

To be clear, I don’t think you said they should be able to.

None the less some folks always hit these threads saying the same thing. “This was a victim-less crime.” If you truly believe that, then you are in effect advocating for a reduction in the age of consent.

If you don’t truly believe that, then don’t act as if this was a lark. It’s against the law for a reason.

NAMBLA would love nothing more than to have the age of consent for minors seriously rolled back.
