I was not shocked to see a 9-0 decision. For all the talk about a sharply divided Supreme Court, there are a few types of cases where lopsided decisions aren’t unusual. These include religious freedom cases and Federal separation of powers cases.

I was also not surprised it was 9-0.
No one remembers the names of circuit court judges, but the votes they make as Supreme Court Justices matter to their legacy. This was such an easy decision, none of the liberals dared to be in a minority.
Amen to your good analysis. Super-legislature. That’s exactly what it is...
If President Trump issued an executive order that said
No Terrorists May Enter the United States of America
liberals would call it religious discrimination since most terrorists are of one religion.
Dear Hillary,
“9 - 0”.
I was surprised. I thought maybe a 6-3 ruling. However a 9-0 really sticks it to the left and the 9th circuit.
Well it was just a few years ago that SCOTUS decided in the Arizona case that immigration was entirely a FEDERAL matter. So to do elsewise now would make them look really stupid.
“Its extremely clear - the President has executive power over enforcing immigration law. No SCOTUS can deny it.”
This is the only thing this decisions about. Presidential power, and SCOTUS said in a 9-0 decision that Trump did not violate the law with his order.
UNANIMOUS?
Oh MY, that must stick in the craw of those snowflakes something FIERCE!
So much kek!
In carving out some exceptions, the SC created authority for the courts to modify the POTUS's constitutional prerogative.
Well, 9-0 explains last week’s 9th circuit walk-back. You don’t need a weatherman...
I would look into impeachment of these characters on questionable behavior. They Went total political on their rulings. It’s provable given SCOTUS ruling.
I think a lot of those lower court judges deserve to be removed, and wish there were a way to easily do so. They are that bad.
What Trump is doing with reshaping the judiciary in his new appointments is simply awesome. Eight years of that will go a long way in straightening out that leftist judicial mess.
And none of the three should be able to overrule the Constitution. There’s a plan for that but the People have to do it at a high bar.
I am all for reforming the judiciary. However, the entire issue of judicial review needs to be revisited.
Our Founders set it up so that the judicial would be our *weakest* branch. Look at us now. SCOTUS power is absolute and we hang by our thumbnails for rulings.
It’s very much out of balance. Packing the courts with Constitutionalists is a great start. President Trump will ultimately do more to preserve America than any president in our recent history.
ROFL!!! That’s it, thank you!!! ROFL!!!
