Hundreds of thousands of revelers descended on Market Street on Sunday morning to join the explosion of color and chest-thumping music as the 47th annual Pride Parade took over downtown San Francisco.

The “Resistance Contingent” near the front of the parade highlighted the fight for marginalized groups amid an increasingly divisive atmosphere nationally. The group changed insults about the president, his family and members of his administration.
