The ones that learn to answer the question as to why they still exist in th age of Amazon will continue on. What do they offer that is not available online? Touch and feel of merchandise, the opportunity for unique merchandise, the opportunity for knowledgeable personal assistance and a social experience. It will be very difficult for them to compete on price, selection of mass marketing goods or convenience. They’ll lose going head to head on that.
