So what we may be living through is Bush III with the Democrats and the Propaganda organs doing to Trump what they did to Bush II.

The Reps control Congress and the WH. There are no excuses for their failures. There is a window of opportunity that will be closing fast. The big losers are the American people. The Reps in Congress are fighting Trump harder than they did Obama. They gave him everything he wanted with their Omnibus bills.

It is time to move beyond this internal struggle for control of the GOP and put the interests of the people first. Trump was not elected by conservatives. Cruz couldn't even endorse Trump at the convention. The self-appointed guardians of conservatism at the National Review, the Weekly Standard, and in Congress are actually hurting conservatism, which is fast becoming a niche ideology that can't communicate with the public at large.

The public, especially those of us who voted for Trump, want his agenda enacted. What is the point of having the GOP control the levers of government if they can't get anything done. Trump has done his part thru Executive Orders and appointments, which are more conservative than the so called conservatives like Bush 43 have ever done. Trump's economic nationalism is an anathema to the globalists of both parties.

He has had the courage to pull out of TPP and the Paris Climate accords; to renegotiate NAFTA; to approve the Dakota and Keystone pipelines; to enforce our immigration laws and secure our borders; and many other actions that hearten conservatives. Isn't it time to pay back Trump's actions by supporting him to achieve his objectives?

1. Trump is not a conservative

2. Trump is doing more positive conservative - limited g'ment things than anyone since Reagan

3. Trump does not have any natural support in the House or Senate. However Trump's people are working to reduce the size of the bureaucratic state(EPA, others)

4. If we do not go and vote in the Primaries, and vote out the incumbents - shame on us. We have the G'ment we vote for.

5. In Texas there are Two "conservatives" Senator Ted Cruz, whom the Donald saw fit to call names. I believe they may have patched up their differences
