The NY rep indicates the ball players should have been armed? Really? They are going to pack heat on the ball field?
It would have been far better if their “guards” hadn’t been sitting on their butts in the air conditioned car and actually been providing the security they were paid to provide.
The victims were lucky there weren’t 10 dead folks there.
Tough words and right on the mark, too, IMO. Neither were “heroes”, either. Both were derelict in their observation duties. A more than obvious pair of AA hires there.
