Wait this travel ban might cost us money? Maybe we will rethink this sanctimonious feel good do nothing action that caters to a small part of our population.

shouldn’t the 9th Circuit step in and strike down the travel ban?

Can the targeted states enforce California’s laws on Californians when they come to visit?

Given California’s fiscal problems, this will be a moot point in a few years. All athletic programs will be canceled to save money. (They’ll have to cancel all of them to be “ fair”.)

They really haven’t thought this through very well. Having said I realize I’m giving too much credit in that they are capable of clear and rational thought. Then I remembered the quote from Kinky Friedman, “You can lead a politician to water but you can’t make him think.”

Let’s root for the Ninth Circus on the traveling sports teams.
That would make the “news” on a couple of levels: sports and legal.

Oopsie. We didn’t mean to affect something serious like sports. Just mean republicans.

Maybe the states named can cancel all California “Visa’s” and turn them around at the state borders. Build that California wall!

Wouldn’t it be great if a national championship is hosted in a “bad” state and if a CA team qualified, the state would prohibit them from participating!

Fresno State will miss out on a huge payday if they don’t go to Tuscaloosa. They would make a courageous stand if the women’s softball team was scheduled to play there.

When the visiting team doesn’t show up, they forfeit the contest.

What business does any state have preventing free US citizens from traveling within the US?
If that's legal, I would outlaw Californians and NYC dwellers from coming to my state.

This is just a measure of the Left's commitment to their prinicples of being intolerant to intolerance:
"We will not stand for intolerance against homosexuals, et al. and will not allow state-supported travel to such states ......... uh, except for college sports ....... and, uh, except for political fundraising .......... and, uh ........
