Russia tried to get into both parties servers, but RNC security was better. If the Russians had gotten Republican emails, they would have used them, too. As it was, they went with what they had.
Trump had repeatedly claimed that the outcome of the election would be “rigged” against him, alleging widespread voter fraud and inaccurate polling. He provided no evidence to back up his claims, but critics feared that his rhetoric could undermine public trust in the outcome of the election.
There was plenty of evidence. The fact that the DNC rigged their primary against Bernie Sanders should have made anyone suspicious that they would try something in the general election.
Also, polling WAS inaccurate. Many of us here saw the consistent Democrat over-sampling that produced results that didn't match what we were seeing on the ground. Reuters/Ipsos men went so far as to change their methodology midway through the election to favor Clinton.

Don’t fall for the template narrative. The Russians may have very well hacked the DNC computers because everybody did and it all started with Clinton’s unsecured server hat she was depositing not only highly classified documents on but also her pay-to-play donations through it as well. Not to mention all of the collusion with the DNC that completed the ring.
What is being reported as hacked DNC e-mails was in reality a leak by an insider and we all here know who that was in addition to who it was leaked to and then given to Assange.
The left is desperate to keep the Russian hacking narrative alive because it is the only deflection they have to the actual veracity of the new investigation launched by the Senate Judiciary Committee. There template is that those e-mails were created as misinformation by the Russians.
Sessions has been operating as sneaky quiet while Team Trump has been letting the drag run really loose trying to get as many bits as hey have hooks on their long leader line. I called that starting this week, Trump and Sessions would start to set the hooks and it appears they have done that. Now they are starting to reel them in. As evidenced by the F&F interview Trump did yesterday morning in calling out the troubling nature of the Comey/Meuller relationship in addition to the Clinton hit squad that was hired to investigate a nothing burger.
Trump seems to be playing out the Niagara Falls skit on his detractors. Only now is will be every time they utter, Russians, Russians, Russians that another one will feel the burn.
