There won’t even be self-check when this is widely-deployed.

IBM RFID Commercial - most of the Bible Prophecy ping list have seen this from me several times - but some new members haven’t so here we go again.
Gone will be the days of barcodes. RFID will make it so you can scan an entire basket of goods in 1 second. Your debit card will automatically be scanned and out the door you go.
There will be no checkout personnel, only those that have to stock the shelves. That is until robots take over that job too.
Scary stuff.
