Yep. Lucas should've sold off the rights after the first one.
It helps if your director is older than the franchise...................
But first, lemme give you a Han. You R2 much.
see you Leia.
I’m just waiting to hear that Han Solo will be recast as a black guy or a muslim woman or something at this point.
That may create issues for Han Solo.
Had the misfortune of watching “Genius” (about Albert Einstein) directed by Opie.
WAY too much conjecture and “you’re a bad husband, a bad father” introspective moments. Wait, did I say “moments”? I meant FULL EPISODES! Good grief, 3 episodes that could have been condensed into 20 minutes to get the point across.
Won’t be watching Opie Solo.
I seriously think Opie’s dad didn’t hug him enough.
With Ron on board the film may have a chance.
10:1 there’s a bit part written for his brother Clint Howard.
“was a bomb though”
Well, I’m not surprised I guess, given that the movie is (loosely) based on ‘Moby Dick’ - a comparatively dry book which spends a good bit of time exploring Cetology.
It should be said that that MD has one of the greatest opening paragraphs in english lit:
“Call me Ishmael. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me on shore, I thought I would sail about a little and see the watery part of the world. It is a way I have of driving off the spleen and regulating the circulation. Whenever I find myself growing grim about the mouth; whenever it is a damp, drizzly November in my soul; whenever I find myself involuntarily pausing before coffin warehouses, and bringing up the rear of every funeral I meet; and especially whenever my hypos get such an upper hand of me, that it requires a strong moral principle to prevent me from deliberately stepping into the street, and methodically knocking people’s hats off...”
The first Star Wars was good, because of the ground breaking special effects. Since then, nothing new. Boring.
Ditto. History Channel bought into a loser with that film.
According to Wikipedia, Jim Nabors isn't pining for the fjords yet.
If you're joking about his "orientation", I don't want to know.
I thought he croaked a few years back, oops.
Clint as `Leon’ was always offering the guys his peanut butter and jelly sandwich on the Andy Griffith show.
That’s a sucker’s bet.
“Genius” was an honest attempt that just went wrong. It is self-serving of Einstein, who was just awful to people in and around his family. The show comes off as a 12-steps to redemption movie. The science is (or would have been some years ago) 7th grade level. The story ends with no moral. Nice sets, though.
