Considering that Pelosi has been Speaker of The House and remains the Minority leader she retains more power, for the moment, than that POS Tom Perez will ever have. How much power did Debbie Wasserman-Schultz really have as DNC Chair? Donna Brazile? They’ve all been stooges.
Perez doesn’t run the party either - Clinton does.
Pelosi owns a lot of it though - she’s been the leader of Democrats in the House a very long time now; and with so few leaders left in that party, her face is almost de facto the face of that party now.
