Clooney scrubs his tequila business for $1B (fills coffers for a POTUS run.)

George Clooney is selling his tequila company Casamigos to Diageo for as much as $1 billion, a source familiar with the situation told CNBC.

"If you asked us four years ago if we had a billion dollar company, I don't think we would have said yes," Clooney told CNBC via email. "This reflects Diageo's belief in our company and our belief in Diageo. But we're not going anywhere. We'll still be very much a part of Casamigos. Starting with a shot tonight. Maybe two."

What tequila company? It looks like George C. has been very wise with his earnings. Good for him. It would be a shame to gamble on a run for the highest office in the land and lose everything all in one big poof! It’s his call.

Only one problem: Clooney would bet slaughtered in the Democratic primaries. Both Disney CEO Robert Iger and Mark Cuban have the executive-level business experience (and a lot of “people networking” savvy) to have way more successful primary runs.

He's married to a Muslim now so I suspect he's converted......at any rate looks like Hollywood has their new candidate grooming up!

Yep..no doubt...Clooney is gearing up for a run.

I hope so, but I doubt it.

The sound-bite-ads bringing up the embarrassing fact that Clooney is a college dropout would be funny and more than effective.

Although George Clooney is a well known Hollywood star, politically, he is no Ronald Reagan, not even close. Demonstrably per his own verbage, Clooney is more like a Hillary Clinton or the Obozo and would continue the thuggish criminal disaster (demise of our Constitution) that the hag and the obozo are now so well known for.

The 2020 democrat field will resemble the bar scene from the first “Star Wars” movie.

At least George Looney can supply the tequila for the freak show.

I don’t watch a lot of movies. I can only think of two with Clooney in them that I have watched. The one that sticks in my head is O Brother Where Art Thou.

“The Peacemaker” was pretty good. I liked the nuke detonation the best but there was lots of action and Clooney made a pretty good SF guy.
