I don’t think the NRA (whom I am a supporter of) should inject themselves into controversies involving (possible) police misconduct. It’s not part of their mission as far as I can see and it would appear to be potentially counter-productive to their mission. We don’t expect a statement from Triple A every time a drunk driver kills someone.
Triple A (AAA) offers roadside assistance why would they be involved in commenting on drunk drivers?
