I remember when they integrated white schools with black students when I was in high school in the 1960s. I don’t remember what the law was, but the black HS had been damaged by a storm so they brought the black kids to the white HS. Everyone got along fine. Then I went to college and we had students from all over the world, black, white, every skin color, etc. We all got along fine. I thought that racism STOPPED in the 1960s. We realized how stupid it was to see race when we looked at other people. Many of us have black and native American indian ancestors here in USA.

We all got along fine.

I frequently make that point. Of course, at no point has the world been a perfect place and there have always been some problems, but I remember the 70s and 80s. Race was not on peoples' minds very much. The problem was solved. I had black friends, dated a black girl, went to school (HS and college, plenty of mixing) and worked with black people and just never really thought about it. Why would I?

And then it changed. Growing anger and resentment. Refusal to behave according to standard social norms. It just got uglier and uglier.

And they want me to believe it's my fault.

Absolutely. Recently had the National Geographic genetic test, revealed a surprisingly large amount of Jewish and Arabic background, unexpected for our fair-skinned blue=eyed family. And a small percentage of Black..1.4% If you go back as far as National Geo goes...16,000 years as I recall, you will find some percentage of Black.

My 1.4 percent black heritage does NOT make me sympathize with this idiot racist.
