A Fox commentator just said she supports a border wall, so maybe that separates her from the worst RINOs to an extent.
In the state of Connecticut, it is the municipal elections, so I think some of the small cities (New Britain for one) will keep their Republican mayors. I think some Dem held small cities might flip to R.

Not defending that decision, but it might have been based on Trump's relatively weak showing in the GA 6th last fall. Price won the district handily, while Trump barely squeaked through.
However in the end, I think Trump's support probably helped her win. Definitely Steve Scalise's support helped her win.
She doesn't fit my definition of RINO. She is very pro-life, very anti-Planned Parenthood. Handel has written a book about PP called "Planned Bullyhood."

I am looking at Handel more as a WINNER than a RINO. If you watched her campaign, she ran on a conservative agenda. I will pick her in a NY minute over the hard lefty Ossoff, masquerading as a centrist, and who is 100% certain to vote for Nancy Pelosi as Speaker. Not all hard right conservatives can win in every district. It is wise to field candidates who can win their district, over pure conservatives who can not win in that district.
