A suicide bomber who allegedly shouted 'Allahu Akbar' and triggered an explosive vest at Brussels Central Station has been gunned down and killed by soldiers. Shots rang out soon after 9pm as police and soldiers moved in 'to neutralise a suspect who was threatening civilians,' said an investigating source. The suspect was said to be wearing a rucksack packed with explosives around Belgium's busiest railway station. Tourists were among those who fled in panic, and within a few minutes nearby shops and restaurants were shutting down. The Grand Place, the city's most popular tourist spot, was completely evacuated because of fears that the man might not be acting alone.

I looked at the pictures and I saw neither *crowds* nor *panic*. Commuters looked a bit upset, but there weren’t hordes running for exits in the pics I saw. The exterior shot of *crowds of commuters* showed a small group standing with space between each one. Are they simply so acclimated or was it really not a prime rush hour?
The only way to combat individual manual detonations like these & the *random* knifings is to deport all Muslims and not let another one in until the Muslim world stops this on its own.

Having read the article, I believe the most descriptive phrase is that which calls the bombing “an increasingly confusing situation.” Central fact seems the the bomber set off his vest bomb and then was shot and killed. He also may have had a backpack or a suitcase bomb.

Did they shoot him before or after he exploded? Could he have exploded BECAUSE they were mean enough to shoot him, or was it the other way around?
