That’s the entire point as Otto should not have expected justice when he entered a country that has no justice.
And while you are in a country that has no justice, it is probably a good idea not to steal their propaganda posters.
I defy anyone to identify Warmbier, let alone any person, in that video. Not that is makes a difference. What happened to him in inexcusable.
Come on. His roommate, with him the entire time, said he didn’t see him tear the poster off the wall or try to steal it.

Why did he go to N.K.? I did not hear why he went there. Of course he should not have been killed! I just wonder why people go to such dangerous places. Yes, we have dangerous spots in US, too. But ALL of N.K. is dangerous. I heard on the news that things like this happen to N. Koreans too. Like 1984, your family members just vanish in the middle of the night. I guess the N. Korean soldiers, etc., are like the Nazi soldiers. Following evil orders. Sure is a crazy world. God be with the Warmbier family.
My father’s family goes back to King John. I have our family tree in detail going back to 1250. My father’s cousin researched our family BEFORE internet. I have a book of our history and ancestors that is about 4 inches thick. Sadly, though, my father’s cousin left out her sister! They were feuding at the time. So my beloved cousin Richard was left out. Family ties, the ties that bound and gag!
So were my family members Planegenet?
I come from far humbler roots: the Mathers of New England and the Pfautzs from somewhere..
