Did Otto Warmbier Really Die Because North Korea Denied Him White Privilege?

Otto Warmbier, a 22-year-old American student imprisoned by North Korea for over a year for attempting to steal a propaganda poster, has died after coming home to Ohio last week. He showed signs of severe brain damage though North Korean officials claimed he had contracted botulism during his imprisonment. His original sentence was 15 years of hard labor but he was released early due to his health. From the Cincinnati Enquirer:

A valid point but bottom line is he had absolutely no business being in North Korea in the first place.

Like my father said when I was 10....”If you put yourself in a potentially dangerous situation and you get into trouble, it’s YOUR own fault”.

You don't see me trying to take a tour of North Korea. I would advise anyone I know who might be thinking of such a thing. Nevertheless, North Korea was totally unjustified in the way it treated Warmbier.
