But we must not forget that N. Korea is responsible for this....Sorry. The snowflake “Made the biggest mistake of my life” and is to blame for his demise...Period.

Just to be clear he went on a tour that was advertised as “a tour your parents don’t want you to go” on and he left the country that he was originally visiting so not on a high horse just stating the facts

For me the fact that they are a Communist Regime led by a ruthless dictator would be enough of a moratorium on travel to North Korea I have absolutely no interest nor can I understand why anyone would have any interest to go to any country without a US Embassy in it

He did not deserve to be brutalized and ultimately murdered for stealing a poster of fat boys daddy.

Agreed. If one goes with the old adage "Let the punishment fit the crime" it seems utterly incomprehensible. Long years of imprisonment for what he did.

I do know this from my own personal life experiences, being very old. That if one was actually was not apprehended for the worst folly committed while young, they were lucky. If that was the worst thing he did, how many did worse than that.?

Worth thinking about what oneself actually did and escaped justice.

“That bastard Obama was too busy getting criminals released from jails in this country to get this kid released from the NORKs. Obama is a pig”.

Yes, a vile pig.

Well I think he was already gone when they brought him home.....he had a feeding tube but his excessive brain damage..his limbs contracted and paralized....blind...no eye response etc. all indicate to me they were just sending a body home.

May the family find some comfort that he was brought back home at least and that they can mourn deeply now knowing the truth. May God comfort them in the days and months ahead.....sad day for many.

Friends and enemies alike are setting upon us. Blatant acts of hostility like those from NK and Iran and our allies heaping ridicule and encouraging secession and joining the Democrats and their demonization of President Trump.

‘Young Pioneer Tours’, the group with which Warmbier traveled to North Korea, will no longer be organizing tours for U.S. citizens to the isolated country, Troy Collings, a company director at the group, ....said in a statement after his death.

There was an Indiana case from the 1920's in which D.C. Stephenson, then the head of the KKK and the most powerful politician in the state, was convicted of second degree murder under the depraved heart doctrine. He had kidnapped Madge Oberholzer, an acquaintance, drove her to Hammond and brutally raped and assaulted her. She was allowed to go to a drug store where she bought poison, some of which she took. She became violently ill, Stephenson panicked, drove back to Indy where he dumped her on her doorstep. But she lived long enough to sign a statement for the police.

If it went down as you suggest, the Norks are still guilty of murder.

Kim needs to be caused significant PAIN, whether economic or physical, for this crime against a kid. Otto was just a typical kid on vacation. Why he chose N. Korea is beyond me, but he was simply heedless. Did not deserve to be murdered. I’d be happy to apply a bit of lathed ash to Num Skull Kim’s evil depraved head. This is such an outrage!!

This story reminds me of Rachel Corrie.

I suppose, technically, stupid is as stupid does: he admitted to stealing state "property".

"You don't tug on Superman's cape
You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off that old Lone Ranger"

And you especially don't mess around with a sociopathic paranoid.
