An Illinois man risked his life to assist a driver suffering from a seizure.
Before the motorist could injure himself or others, Randy Tompkins jumped into the mans vehicle and it was all caught on a police cruisers dash-mounted camera.

I’ve been to Dixon many times. I don’t recognize that section of town (is that a new Culver’s?) Must be on the outskirts near the exit off the Reagan highway.
I’m impressed. That took courage and quick thinking, and it looks like he did everything right.
Well, someone’s gonna be fired at CNN. A story that has nothing to do with Impeachment! Obstruction! Comey! Russia! And a positive story at that.
Holy smokes! Good job, dude.
Amazing! Just when you start to lose faith in humanity, thank goodness you see something like this.
There’s a radio show on Npr that is actually decent. One Sunday they ran a set of stories about people who put themselves in dire peril to rescue total strangers. The one story that stuck with me was about a woman who saw another lady getting tossed around like a beach ball by an enormous bull. She pulled her car over, ran into the pasture and punched the bull in the face. I would have definitely called 911 and tried distraction, but there’s no way I would have been as brave as that lady.
You just had to say that. Now I need a Wisconsin Swiss Cheese Melt:
Midwest-raised beef, seared on a grill after you order, topped with real Wisconsin Swiss cheese and tangy red onions. Served on lightly buttered, grilled rye bread.
I am surprised an epileptic is issued a drivers license.

I live near a small town...and I had driven into town. I came upon some cars stopped...It appeared like a car three cars in front of me..was getting ready to make a left turn.
I was watching the car's driver..and I see them suddenly start jerking...and then lay down in the front seat....Somewhere between jerking and laying down...I was out of my truck and trotting towards the car...I passed a pickup with a couple guy's in it..and yelled to them to call 911...when the girl laid down on the front seat...the car started rolling..I was running trying to open the door and then one-legged trying to stomp on the brakes.....Wasn't going fast...but it was tricky. Ha!!
Got the car stopped...and checked the girl..she was breathing...and seemed okay. Looked in the back...and there was a baby in a car seat...!!
EMS got there fairly fast...and they knew her...as this, I guess had happened before????
Crazy small town stuff....
It could have been the person’s first attack - or it could be that he lied about it or didn’t even have a license. In any case, I’m glad this Good Samaritan happened along!
Or to stutterers...JK
I had my first seizure in Nov 2016, well first and only. I think it was caused by low blood sugar issues as nothing else was found. Its weird, you never even know it happened... one min Im walking into the gas station to pay for snacks... the next I’m in a hospital... I remember NOTHING about what happened in between... If i was ever going to die... that would be the way to go, you never know it happened... of course not wanting to hurt anyone else... i fell and hurt my shoulder pretty severely but i never felt a thing, till i woke up...
people tell you all what you did, and your like really??? you have no clue..
.
Could be he wasn’t epileptic.
Might have been a reaction to prescription drugs. Happens all the time.
.
Must be visiting from Texas.
Did you have a seizure during this post?
Are you mocking someone? (secret me is laughing, but public me is very stern)
