Not true, Rush. Impeachment is a political act. The Congress itself decides what constitutes "high crimes and misdemeanors." No Court can gainsay the Congress if it impeaches and removes. Congress needs an excuse for political reasons only. Were there a Democrat majority the process would have begun formally in February. The Republicans want just as much to do it but are a bit squeamish as they are nominally of the same party as the President they want to kill impeach. They need some shadow of a highcrimesormisdemeanors they can wave for the voters. That is why this "Obstruction of Justice" is dangerous.
