Former NFL Quarterback Colin Kaepernick Refers To Law Enforcement as 'The Fugitive Slave Patrol'
The American Thinker ^ | 6/19/2017 | Rick Moran

Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who refused to stand during the playing of the National Anthem, has raised the level of his stupidity and ignorance to new heights by likening the police to "the fugitive slave patrol."

Kaepernick made his comments following the not guilty verdict in the trial of a Minnesota police officer charged with murdering a black motorist during a traffic stop.

The quarterback, who, unsurprisingly is having trouble finding a job, tweeted a picture of a police badge and a badge worn by agents for Southern state governments charged with hunting down fugitive slaves.

A system that perpetually condones the killing of people, without consequence, doesn't need to be revised, it needs to be dismantled! pic.twitter.com/BVVPVZIQyD

– Colin Kaepernick (@Kaepernick7) June 16, 2017

The reality is that Kaepernick couldn't even stop Kaepernicking long enough to get into training camp. His abandonment of his protest crusade was nothing more than a political maneuver to soothe antsy NFL owners and placate those who correctly saw him for what he was from the outset.

Yet, none of the owners bit, because the true darkness of what Kaepernick believes was always going to come out. Now he has likened police officers, a huge percentage of which are minorities and an overwhelming percentage of which are not racists, to slave catchers.

Kaepernick thinks he's being blackballed for his political views. He is 100% correct. Football is big business. Hiring a high-profile quarterback – even in a backup role – who angers thousands of fans to the point that many will boycott games would be stupid business. Kaepernick wants a consequence-free soapbox where he can scream his inanities without fear of punishment. He won't get it if he wants to play again in the NFL.

The quotation from the Breitbart article butchers the matter, though (if I am understanding correctly). They say that 10-2 and then later 12-0 voted for “CONVICTION.” This is obviously incorrect, the jury’s vote was for ACQUITTAL.

The officer was acquitted, not convicted.

It’s the job of the police to patrol for fugitives, and there haven’t been any American slaves since the 1800’s.

Colin, the fact that you feel inferior, resentful, and angry is inside YOU, not cops, or white people.

You had a job making more in one year, than this cracker will make in his lifetime. YOU BLEW IT, just being a public asshole.

Whitey didn’t put you where you are...the police didn’t put you there...YOU are the sole creator of your current situation.

Enjoy fry duty at McDonald’s.

Does Kap still have the girlfriend who is an activist black attempted media personality? She might be leading him around by the . . .

I seriesly doubt she's still hanging around - he's probably spent all his cash on sports cars and sneakers and now he's looking at full time employment with a 7-11 or Foot Locker

Kaepernick just guaranteed he won't be signed by ANY NFL team this season. They don't want to deal with the PR nightmare caused by his political comments.
