The “firing for good cause” in not in the law, but he says that so he can rhetorically squeeze in the part “not fire someone for malicious cause.” The little twerp prick things that is a good sound bite.

It was malicious that Comey led everyone to believe for seven months that he was investigating Trump. He should have been fired for that alone.

Senate investigation is different than mueller investigation. Burr has already said they aren’t going to be looking at criminal matters that mueller is looking at

This is not about whether trump had the right to fire comey.

Look at who mueller is hiring and their expertise. Mueller won’t be done by sept. Unless he hands it over to someone else to continue.

I can see what they are going for...

Many here cant ..yet. we are at the stage of trumps personal lawyer getting a lawyer. When you get to the third hierarchy of lawyers hiring lawyers some might be able to see how serious this is

Btw..cohens new lawyer has said that mueller was really the only person for thisjob.
