With Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton's stunning election night loss to now-President Donald Trump, the largest glass ceiling in American politics remained intact. The literal glass ceiling at the Clinton election-night party at the Javits Center in New York added insult to injury for those hoping to see the election of the first female president.
Of the United States' 44 presidents, all have been men. But with Donald Trump struggling with strikingly low approval ratings in his first year in office, some are already envisioning the 2020 field.
[Snip]
Here are eight women who could, potentially, become the first female president in 2020.
Kamala Harris
Harris, the junior senator from California, was just elected to the Senate in 2016. But since her arrival, Harris has been making waves as a leader of the resistance to Trump. ...
Elizabeth Warren
Warren, the junior senator from Massachusetts, was the subject of widespread speculation about a presidential bid before deciding not to run in 2016. Warren would be a natural fit to appeal to 2016 supporters of Bernie Sandersif Sanders decides not to run. ...
Amy Klobucher
The Minnesota senator is already positioning herself for a possible 2020 presidential bid, appearing at events in Iowa. ...
Kirsten Gillibrand
Gillibrand has drawn many a comparison to her predecessor in the Senate: Clinton. ...
Tammy Duckworth
Duckworth, also newly elected to the Senate from Illonois, cruised to victory over Republican Mark Kirk in 2016. ...
Hillary Clinton
Clinton has remained in the spotlight since her 2016 loss, freely discussing the factors that she believed played into her electoral defeat. Will she run in 2020?

More FAKE news
then they all should be outing themselves now.
Get the dirt out and diffuse it now
oh wait...MSM wouldn’t report any dirt on any of them.
never mind.
I am in total agreement with you. Great post!
You’re right. She seems normal.
Hahaha. No way the American people vote for those losers. No way.
I see no point in trying to destroy the country simply to elect a female president. There is currently NO FEMALE in sight that is capable of being a worthy president on either side of the aisle. I cannot stand the pink pussies running around trying to destroy the credibility of every man simply because he is male.
We have already had one and a half black presidents—Bill Clinton who claimed he was the first black president because he identified as being black and Barak Hussein Obama who was half black. We have also had one female president—Barak Hussein Obama whose policies shows he identifies as being a woman.
Hmm, maybe we'll soon get the real dope on Barry Soetoro.
She will be the nominee. Perceived as restoring the Obama magic.
Woman is so 90s...
We’re onto the first Tranny President now.
It would be a great cat fight with her and the Injun.
Hello.
She was born in Oakland, CA.
What you said. Just because she was born on American soil, that's not sufficient to make her a natural born citizen. Her parents had not demonstrated allegiance to this country (via acquiring citizenship) when she was born.
She's going to be pushed, and pushed hard, to be the Dem candidate in '20. Count on it. BO in a skirt.
Hahaha. A cavalcade of creeps.
If Bruce Jenner were a liberal, that would be the reality for 2020.
To non-citizen parents. Not a natural born citizen.
“But with Donald Trump struggling with strikingly low approval ratings in his first year in office...”
Not according to the latest polls.
Some of the people on the list barely qualify as women, IMHO.
Never said she would beat Trump.
An absolute disaster. She is an Obama clone and would be controlled by Obama/Jarrett/Hillary. More socialism on the way to full bore communism and the New World Socialist government. We have to fight this tooth and nail starting now.
