POTUS' TREASURES
Eric, Tiffany, Barron,Ivanka, Don Jr.
Good night all.
Thanks NIKK. I really like that pic and quote. TRUMP is a dreamer. He never doubts. Amazing man. Leader of leaders.
welcome
I would highly recommend a French press. Makes delicious fresh brewed coffee in few minutes—come in all sizes.
Thanks, Georgiegirl. I’ve heard of this but don’t really know anything about it. I will read up and learn about it.
If you can get ahold of one of the hotel coffee makers. They are 2-4 cups drip brewed. You can modify/make your own blend packets w filters. Might find on amazon or hotel Supply house
good morning Lysie! Breakfast looks yummy!
Oh yes, I do remember seeing those in hotel bathrooms. They are actually the perfect size for what I am looking for. Thanks, Dolly.
Good morning, lysie.
Thanks for breakfast.
Good morning sis and Gran. It looks good to me, too. ;-)
Good morning Trumpsters.
I guess breakfast is waiting, thanks lysie.
Coffee maker. Love mine.
It is a percolator that makes 2-4 cups and perks the coffee, none of this flow thru coffee.
Makes a good cup of coffee and have read about the best store bought coffee, was Folgers. Makes a good cup of coffee for me.
Here it is.
Farberware FCP240 2-4-Cup Percolator, Stainless Steel
Good morning Ray! How did the appointment go? We’ve been praying for your dear wife...
Guessing that’s her spouse?
Hahaha... So true!
Thanks for the ping. I am at wifi now briefly and none of the pix save the Ping Aling, wreath and bottom pix showed up on any of my devices! bummer
Re yesterday's discussion and, chat on phones cost etc. Most know my home is off grid so there is not any wifi, power, paid services. I am very fortunate my brother covers my cell phone on his family plan. If I didn't have that I wold hardly ever be around and I am not around much as is. My last update on phone I was eligible for the iPhone 7 ... free. My friend Jim helped me with the incidentals (case, protective unit, insurance, vehicle and extended power cords.. etc which totaled about 500 (for the free phone!!!). I am grateful for what I have but if on my own I would be doing smoke signals across the valley here
Hoosiermama I do understand about your limitations with phone and no service. I often get into the regions in Amish country like that and if I have been relying on my phone rather than GPS for getting somewhere or checking something, I am in trouble. Even at my home I am usually at one or 2 bars and now and then NO SERVICE pops up. then it is the flashlight and a book for the evening!
Tonight I am going to a birthday celebration for my friend Paul. He turned 90 last week. Never married. From W of Toronto originally but after grad school (and he went through seminary but never took vows) came and taught at Gilmour Academy a then Jesuit boys prep school and now co-ed. We met 25+ years ago on the bike trail. He was lost (my very stereotypical absent minded professor). He was always lost and we became good friends. Biked, travelled, movies, dinner etc over the years. Never a romantic situation but I was the closest thing to a girlfriend he had ever had and I know to this day I am his closest friend.
He taught about 40 years and in that time missed 3 days of school. All of them due to snow issues returning from visiting his parents in Canada (good old Lake Erie Lake effect). He was never sick or had medical issues until 70. Never had ONE headache! Amazing guy. But after 70 TSHTF medically and I have helped and seen him through many issues
He retired from the school 20 years ago and stayed active. Did free and paid tutoring. For past 10 years goes to all girls CC, basketball, volleyball games and does extensive photography for them . He edits pix and sends out packets of up to a 100 pix normally per event. He goes with the girls on the buses to away games and families adore him. He is invited often to the homes of the students.. sometimes I am invited to tag along but often the event parties were weekends when I have been working the past 3 years.
These students/families are wealthy. The tuition is high and many parents have several students enrolled. The houses are unbelievable. All the families are very kind, down to earth and caring. I am so glad he has been embraced with this challenge of photography and it has connected him with good folk.
Due to balance issues he has not biked or hiked for about 7 years. Misses it sorely.
Well that is Paul's abbreviated story and here is his pix taken 7 years ago when we had a surprise 83 luncheon for him!
