Special counsel Robert Mueller has brought 13 lawyers on board to handle the Russia investigation, with plans to hire more, according to his spokesman Peter Carr. Mueller has assembled a high-powered team of top investigators and leading experts, including seasoned attorneys who've represented major American companies in court and who have worked on cases ranging from Watergate to the Enron fraud scandal.

Among them are James Quarles and Jeannie Rhee, both of ( whom Mueller brought over from his old firm, WilmerHale.) He's also hired Andrew Weissmann, who led the Enron investigation.

Mueller is deeply conflicted and he is clearly on a witch hunt. Trump has a multitude of valid reasons to dismiss him right now before he does any damage. If Mueller is allowed to run wild, he surely will.

Mueller is out for one thing, and one thing only. And its not about seeking justice or protecting the country. Its about political revenge and retribution.

If the Left succeeds in removing a democratically elected president in a pure act of vengeance, our political institutions will never be trusted again. The country will be damaged beyond repair and civil strife will surely break out.

This is NothingGate.

Concur, however I don't believe it matters that Trump did nothing wrong. Right now they are erecting the gallows while all the Republicans are standing around watching.

Perhaps it plays out that this is all posturing and intimidation, but it is likely having an effect. Is Trump now trimming his policy sails, such as with immigration and the border, because of all this? And as we have all seen, the two dozen independent counsel Democrats along with the corrupt MSM, will find the most negligible infraction and will then set out to make the case that Trump should be hung from the gallows they constructed.

At the very, very least it is becoming crystal clear that the Democrats, with full RINO approval, are building the investigation infrastructure to last well past the 2018 elections and probably into the 2020 elections. Chuck Schumer has already stated they are going to drag this out, and Republicans all seem okay with this.

Every day Trump doesn’t fire this dirtball is another day he is giving his supporters the middle finger.

This firing needs to happen right now—no excuses.

This is little more than a jobs program for Dim lawyers.

Which means they’ll concoct a bullshit story which will drive bullshit charges against Trump admin officials...and keep the train rolling for as long as they can.

The Republican Congress could end this today if they wanted to. they could simply de-fund their activities.

But they won’t because they are anti-American, corrupt bastards.

Exactly. That is what the Washington DC Swamp is all about. Funneling money to your friends, and punishing your enemies. And trust me, its a river of money that everyone in DC bellies up to. The tax payers have no idea what really goes on.

It is pretty clear to me they are looking into financial crimes..money laundering etc.

IF Trump did nothing wrong they are trying to trap him a la Nixon. It doesn’t help him that his son in law is being investigated.

I think there is something there from one or more of his underlings.

I realize most here continue to be in denial over this and like to claim those of us cautioning Trump are just nevertrumpers.

They need to lawyer up...and they need to shut up.

I posted that tweet from AriFleischer and got lambasted.

Trump taunted Mueller saying he was vindicated after Comey testimony. Ari tweeted that he wasn’t vindicated until Mueller said he was vindicated and that he should stop talking so he doesn’t walk into a perjury trap.

This is serious business. Preet is gunning for him. NY is gunning for him. Deep State is gunning for him.

He needs to tighten up and shut up if he wants to come out of this with a clean bill from Mueller.

Yeah Yeah isn’t not fair. They didn’t do it to Hillary. That is not a viable defense in a criminal prosecution or impeachment proceeding

” Trump has not committed any crime.”

They will create evidence that says he did - it’s what they do. The rope that Trump is giving them will end up hanging him.

I agree, and frankly Trump should bombard him and the DNC-Media with very pointed tweets. Because the Republicans are not defending the office nor America, because they dislike Trump.

I think Trump’s tweets yesterday were spot on.

He is being accused of all the crimes that Hillary, Comey, Lynch, Obama, Brennan committed - the supreme irony.

Mueller has nothing, absolutely nothing and now he is on a hiring storm and leaking bullshit to the press. This guy is turning out to be a leftist operative for the DNC, threatening a democratically elected President who committed no crime.

Trump should continue his attacks, and give Mueller time to embarrass himself. Trump is innocent, and these are nonsense. When Mueller starts going after overdue library books and other crap, then pull the plug, and state the obvious. We are not wasting tax dollars on DNC mind games so they can get an advantage politically.

Meanwhile the real criminals are walking out of this. Hillary broke the law, and by Comey illegally pardoning her, he pardoned Lynch and Obama’s obstruction, as well as his own failing to report their obstruction. Just a self-serving con artist.

Comey pardoned Bill on the Marc Rich bribe, and New Square bribe for votes. He was general counsel of Lockheed when he had the company give millions to the Clinton Fund. Comey had cleared the Clintons on Whitewater. He has been their lackey water-carrier for years, yet not even the mention of recusal. Still, no Republicans have brought this up to say “look how in-bed Comey was with them. His brother worked as a consultant to Clinton.”

Nobody has told me exactly WHAT is being investigated, what Russia did to “influence” (whatever the heck that means) the election and how Trump was involved in anyway when he was just a candidate not in charge of anything in the government at the time.

Again I ask, where is the criminal investigation of Hillary? No one, including Clinton herself, denies that she engaged in illegal activity, whether or not she intended, as Comey inappropriately excused.

Where is the criminal investigation of Susan Rice and all the illegal unmasking?

Where is the criminal investigation of Loretta Lynch and her illegal interference in the Hillary corruption scandal?

Why is there absolutely no coverage of these known illegal activities — none? Where is the investigation?

btw, Trump’s lawyer going around saying he advised Trump to fire Preet because Preet was going to get him doesn’t help the situation IF that story is true..and it may not be true.

He may have never advised it. And he may have never bragged to his friends that he said it.

____________________________________________

And who is paying the bill for all of these “unnecessary” lawyers? We are. What a waste of taxpayer money!

Just like last nights ball game. Oh, they raised blah, blah amount of money for “their” charities. Who paid the million dollar security bill for the game? We did....the taxpayers!

Again, the taxpayers are getting ripped.....

Letter to President Trump, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh...

I’m very upset about Jeff Sessions giving up control of the DOJ to the leftist Democrats. He’s a good man but has made a very bad decision and created a mess that needs to be fixed now.

If Jeff Sessions doesn’t ...
1) UNRECUSE himself
2) FIRE Mueller and Rosenstein
3) BEGIN more special counsels on Hillary, Holder, Lynch, and Comey - then he should resign.

WE need someone who won’t give up control of the DOJ to the leftist lunatics. WE need a PITBULL as the US Attorney General.

If Sessions can’t do the job - then President Trump should nominate JAY SEKULOW for Attorney General of the United States.
