Second of all, we are a nation of borders and laws. Nations are defined by borders. If we aren’t going to enforce immigration law when people are here illegally, why in the world is it fair to make other people go through the process of coming in through immigrations and customs enforcement and why in the world is it fair to make other people who are trying to become legal citizens go through a long, tedious process?

You could tell a leftist that and his/her head would explode.

On a tourist resort island in FL. my sister knows a Brit couple who invested in a very successful art-cafe business and also construction.Have resided in FL for over a decade. They had hired an immigration attorney paid him 4K and found out that because of the income reported on their taxes was either too low or high (not clear) somehow they could be at risk of being deported. The woman has an eighty year old mother in the UK that she goes to visit a few times per year. She was told that IF SHE LEAVES the USA she may not be able to return. All her property new 500K home, businesses, etc...would be lost.
