This Russian investigation has gone nowhere, so theyre coming up with new charges, said Jay Sekulow, one of President Trumps attorneys.
Sekulow, chief counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice, was reacting to a report in Thursdays Washington Post that says Special Counsel Robert Mueller is investigating President Trump for possible obstruction of justice.
The report, based on five anonymous sources, describes the latest (alleged) development in the investigation as a major turning point.
The newspaper said investigators also are looking for evidence of possible financial crimes among Trump associates.
If this is true that five individuals inside of the United States government, whether it was the FBI or the Special Counsels office -- wherever it came from -- leaked information about the president of the United States to the Washington Post, information about a supposed investigation, that is a crime, Sekulow told Fox Newss Sean Hannity Wednesday night.

It’s high time the no good SOBs in the republican party started backing Trump up! They are leaving him out in the wind alone.
Did you see where ethics complaints have been filed in DC and NY against one of trumps lawyers. I figured that was coming.....lets see if they try to do it to Jay as well.
Sekulow should be Attorney General, Sessions is mister wimpy.
Nope.
Some of the matters President T should appoint “special counsels” to investigate ASAP, each seperately:
1.) DC Pedophelia
2.) Clinton Foundation
3.) Obama Spy Gate
4.) The Federal Reserve
Little if any immunity but for a star witness or two;
Start Indicting!
That should put the fear of God back into the Swamp...
Then for God’s sake DO something about it! Wake Sessions up from his nap and effing CHARGE someone with a crime!
Wake the hell up!
I think they know they’ve got nothing, so they’re leaking crap trying to goad Trump into firing Mueller, which they would then turn into yet another made-up crisis.
Same here. He is so good at what he does. Maybe they are keeping the criminals, AKA Mueller, Comey, pick-a-lib for some reason unknown to us.
Notice it’s almost always the WaPos. Over and over they are in possession of illegal docs can’t something be done about it?
Has Hillary’s security clearance been terminated?
If not, why not?
DAG Rosenstein is looking dirty.
Yeah but WaPo and NYT have been reporting based on leaks all sorts of crap that never happened
2) Opening all government files and appointing a special investigator to investigate the JFK assassination.... ‘
Let 4Chan chew on the data and see what pops up.
I still wish Trump would get Joe and Victoria
During the Starr investigation, Clinton cronies would routinely leak information to the media about the grand jury proceedings or other aspects of the investigation, then run to the nearest MSM jackasses, breathlessly criticize the Starr team for leaking this information, and then call for Starr's resignation.
And most of the sh!t they were leaking wasn't even true, anyway.
What goes around, comes around -- eh? LMAO.
To establish a violation of this section, the government must prove that: (1) the defendant was an officer or employee of the United States; (2) the defendant disclosed confidential information; and (3) the defendant knew that the information so disclosed was confidential "in the sense that its disclosure is forbidden by agency official policy (or by regulation or law).
There is tension between 18 USC 1905 and FOIA.
Link above includes case law cites.
No more special counsels. It is constitutionally iffy anyway
DOJ should just do their job
We are not a turd world country. If you want to see blood running in the streets move to Chicago or Baltimore
If recent history is any indication, the culprits will have the perfect defense in this case: They can't be charged with leaking confidential or classified information if the information they're "leaking" to the media isn't even true.
Certainly the Wa Post wouldn’t make up non existent sources? /s
