Fox News is no longer Fair and Balanced.
The cable news channel is reportedly set to drop its 20-year-old marketing slogan in an effort to distance itself from its former chief Roger Ailes, who invented it when he launched the network in 1996, according to New York magazine.
Instead, staffers at Fox have reportedly been asked to use its other, less-well-known slogan: Most Watched. Most Trusted.
A source at the network reportedly told New York that the switch wont affect programming or editorial decisions.
The news comes as Fox News continues to move away from the Ailes era under the guidance of Rupert Murdoch and his sons James and Lachlan. Ailes, the principal architect of Fox who changed the cable news business forever, resigned from the network last year under a cloud of sexual harassment allegations and died in May at age 77.
The network has undergone significant changes in recent weeks following the departure of longtime star anchor Bill OReilly, whose OReilly Factor was the top-rated cable news program for more than a decade. OReilly left the network this year after the New York Times reported that he had paid millions of dollars to settle multiple sexual harassment claims.

Fox is RINO-News.. and it shows.
More younger Murdoch stupidity....
“Fair and Balanced” was the slogan of Fox News. There is no more Fox News. Now we have Murdoch News, which is doing its best to become CNN-light.

Bye, Fox.
Exception: Hannity. But I can get clips online.
It hasn't been that for a while; now it can drift further leftward.
I wonder if we'll ever get to hear the Murdoch sons saying "what happened?"
I'm kidding myself, I know.
Fox has decided that those panel shows are what will get them ratings? They sprinkle in hardcore liberals as if that will generate some kind of intelligent exchange. The panel shows range from awful to unwatchable.
If Fox isn’t intentionally tanking, they have some really stupid people programming the network.
They should have done that when Obama ran for President the first time.
That’s good because they’ve been false advertising for years!
There! Fixed it.
They should. They never said that they did honest reporting only Fair and Balanced reporting. They never used words words or terms that had universal meaning, only politically correct terms and words such, Fair and Balanced.
I no longer watch Fox News as it has turned to garbage news for the most part. I’ve switched to OANN, One America News Network.
I believe we all should turn FNC off except for Lou Dobbs, Hannity, Pirro.
How about "Most T. Most A."

I don’t have cable these days, but I agree with your take on it.
If they are abandoning that slogan, that pretty much makes it official.

Maybe because they know Bill O’Reilly is going to drop the hammer on their bogus operation....
