I have walked away from several friendships as well, mainly people I knew in college. I was a liberal dumbass sheeple myself back then, but I grew out of it. I have no patience for knee-jerk leftists who believe the same tired old anti-American slogans.
And as I read the lefties jump to discussions over gun control instead of condemning the hostility and calls to violence, making nasty “jokes” and even becoming nastier than before which I wouldn’t have thought possible… my heart hurts even more. Truly I feel heartbroken today.
