House Majority Whip Steve Scalise was shot in the hip and at least one other aide was also hit in the chest by a gunman with a rifle who opened fire at a baseball practice in Virginia Wednesday morning, Fox News confirmed. Police tweeted they "believed" the gunman was in custody. Sen. Mike Lee told Fox News, however, the gunman was dead. He said a staffer used a belt as a tourniquet to stop Scalise's bleeding. I was standing at home plate and he was in the third base line,” Bishop said. “He had a rifle that was clearly meant for the job of taking people out, multiple casualties, and he had several rounds and magazines that he kept unloading and reloading.”
The shooting went on for roughly 10 minutes, with some accounts putting the number of shots fired around 100. Four people were injured, including two Capitol Hill police officers and House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, of Louisiana. The suspect was also shot.
“The only reason why any of us walked out of this thing, by the grace of God, one of the folks here had a weapon to fire back and give us a moment to find cover. We were inside the backstop and if we didn’t have that cover by a brave person who stood up and took a shot themselves, we would not have gotten out of there and every one of us would have been hit — every single one of us,” said Bishop. “He was coming around the fence line and he was looking for all of us who had found cover in different spots. But if we didn’t have return fire right there, he would have come up to each one of us and shot us point-blank.”

First I want to extend prayers for all who were shot, and the families having to deal with their loved ones.
Now, I am getting real tired of the leftist politicians, the MSM, Hollywood actors, and leftist musicians and comedians constantly calling the President and all elected Republicans NAZI’s who only want to kill women, children, and minorities.
When ever a shooting takes place in America the MSM’s mantra is we need to eliminate the 2nd amendment rights of all American citizens.Well, today I am calling for the elimination of all elected democrats and any news reporter who refuse to report the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
I know, I know. How can we know what the truth is, and who is the arbitrator of the facts. That would be time my friends, because eventually the truth comes out. It’s just that usually the leftist Democrats change the subject by obfuscating and manipulation of the media. Thus when the truth comes out, and politician that lied, get removed from office, and any reporter or news reader loses their job and they get banned from ever reporting the news ever again, and any and all musicians, actors, and others in the entertainment industry should be banned from the country.
OK, I know that will never happen, but I blame this shooting and most other shootings of rage and anger in America on the democrats and the MSM, for always jumping to conclusions and demanding we the people lose our rights instead of blaming the person breaking the law.

Why has the left gotten so violent?
Liberal commentator Noam Chomsky once wrote, “people with power understand exactly one thing: violence.” His alt-left supporters must have been paying attention. As a result, the liberal cold war against the right has escalated from demonization to intimidation, harassment and violence — with Trump administration officials and members of Congress as prime targets.
You can thank media outlets for escalating the tensions and urging left-wing shock troops to declare war on the right. HuffPost went so far as to encourage harassment of Trump officials and pundits, calling for them to, “be hounded by protestors [sic] everywhere, especially in public.” HuffPost is led by a supposedly respected former New York Times editor Lydia Polgreen.
The left’s insanity has gained momentum from incidents during the campaign and turned into an avalanche of crazy — less than four months into President Donald Trump’s first term. In that time, we’ve had three riots in Berkeley, Calif., and an inaugural riot so bad that 200 people have been charged with felonies. One of those has already been convicted. So-called “antifa” attacks on Trump events are now common and conservative speakers like Ann Coulter have to cancel events out of a fear of violence. A Portland, Ore., parade was shut down for similar threats against the right. The ironically-named Students for Justice in Palestine just shut down a pro-Israel event at The University of California, Irvine, shouting “f*** you” at attendees.
Now it’s Trump officials and Republican members of Congress at risk.

Within the last month two artistic works have drawn criticism for imagined violence against Trump. In May, comedian Kathy Griffin apologized for a photo where she held a mask of a bloody, severed Trump head after a major backlash where CNN cut ties with her. More recently, a production of Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar” depicted a Trump-like figure who was assassinated. The president’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., on Twitter highlighted another user’s tweet that said, “Events like today are EXACTLY why we took issue with NY elites glorifying the assassination of our President,” soon after shots were fired at Republican congressmen during a baseball practice.
