Two men were caught on video launching avocados at a Bronx bodega worker — breaking the man’s jaw with the succulent fruit. The men went on the wild fruit-slinging spree in the Stadium Gourmet Deli near Yankee Stadium after an argument about their food order at about 4:45 p.m. on May 29, according to police. After being viciously pelted with both avocados and bananas, the 21-year-old bodega clerk was taken to Lincoln Hospital. The victim suffered cuts and fractures to his face as well as a broken jaw. Cops were looking for the two suspects Tuesday night.

never heard avocado described as succulent
Oh heck yes. Go down to ainy hipster joint and you see fresh avocado juice on the menu to go with the avocado toast. Told that Whole foods carries the canned avocado juice, in the aisle with grass juice, and special imported Saigon sewage juice with its rich blend of aromatic succulents.
Just kidding....or not.

We had a dog who was like that with apples. There was an old tree growing in the woods back home, and we’d hike up the hill every fall with a bushel basket to pick our fill. She’d tag along and Hoover up anything on the ground we didn’t get. Her belly would be dragging the ground when we left. Typical Apple Country dog. LOL
Oh, they’re fully ripe. I just don’t see what all the fuss is.
