Can we ever forget that Jim DeMint's organization endorsed Ben Sasse? He didn't seem to be fully on board with the Deplorable agenda. Anything he wants, I'd worry about his fondness for thinking of the global elitists as "conservatives" and what agenda they'd bring to the convention of states.
What the US needs is two new parties: Sovereignty Party and Globalist Party.

There is no excuse for opposing a Convention of the States called by a super majority of Conservative legislatures.

The US already has a Globalist party: Democrats+Republicans=Republicrats. We do need a Sovereignty party however.
