We should do "balanced" documentaries about the Holocaust and about US slavery -- hey, maybe some of those Jews wanted to be killed. Maybe some blacks wanted to be slaves. It would be so insensitive to always make the bad guys look like bad guys.

Here is a truth about black slavery in the US that will never be part of a “balanced” presentation on slavery:

Slavery in America is the best thing that ever happened to the negro as the descendants of American slaves, now thriving here in the US at a level unseen for black people anywhere else in the world, are far better off than they would be if they and their ancestors had never been taken from Africa.
