I prefer a different solution. Let’s move most of the government workers that survive the cost-cutting measures to be taken by President Trump from DC to small towns throughout the heartland. This will give an economic boost to many areas and teach some swamp creatures to be human again. That will leave this waste of protoplasm out of work when the Compost has no more readers, and HE can go into hospice. Or curl into a bottle and die, for all I care.

Not practical.

There are economies of scale every activity has to consider.

Not to mention the requirements of the Division of Labor.

Large cities have a vast array of talents not available in small towns. Cities which succeed are constantly innovating and creating new businesses and jobs.
