Memorial Gathering for John Niedbalski (nytexan)

 

John was a fiercely loyal FRiend to us and loved by many. We will all miss him.

We want to spend some time with all of John's FRiends and honor this amazing person.

I learned early on not to argue with John about herding cats.

Got that right! He knew some stuff. He could have done this way better than we can. :/

He was stubborn as a mule ☺

If I have to work Thursday nite I do not get home till about 6am Friday Morning. I usually sleep about 3 to 4 hrs then struggle through the day so I can get to sleep Friday nite.

I ain’t worth much those weekends till Sunday :-(

Trying to make a 8 to 10 hour drive is kinda dicey for this tired old guy.

Still planning to be there for the shoot in October. I was able to take both Wed and Thur nite off so I should be back on regular sleep schedule that week.

Now if I could only get that transporter working :-)

I know its a long *** drive.

Melatonin used to work for me on weird shifts.

Now? Not so much.

Maybe we can find a few good ears of corn too.

This bicolor stuff is the best corn I have seen in Tx for 25 years.

John liked sweet corn roasted

Yes, he did! And knew something about roasting them! Yum! You could bring corn if you want to, MY. :)

Wish I had been on that road trip out of Buffalo.

He was very proud to go to Tx but loved his home.

Loved his home with good reason.

Will his brother be coming?

I wish you had, too! it was a good trip and I was happy to have seen where he and Chancy lived. It was such fun to visit with Rus, his family, Dolly and the two guys with her whose names escape me right now.

AND to go to Niagara Falls! And the drive from Buffalo to Maine was splendid!

I don’t think he will, but who knows. There hasn’t been much communication from him.

John didn’t share that. Wish better-half and I could be there with the Texas group cause with the Texas group o FReepers is the best place to be. In prayer ....

I love corn on the grill, he showed me how to cook it right!
