This didn’t come from a Federal investigation. The media outlet where this dingbat mailed the classified material realized what they had in their possession and apparently reported it to the FBI themselves.

There is the use of the term “leaker” when it isn’t an employee or staff member leaking inside confidential information but someone with an agency charged with protecting our nation busting their clearance and feeding secret information to outsiders. That is espionage.
