My brother adopted a feral cat as a kitten. Completely out of control for the first week, but he gradually came around. It lived with bro for 4 years or so, then just walked away and never returned.
He was as affectionate and loyal as any regular cat, but did have a bit of an attitude towards large dogs. It was funny to watch him taunting the neighbour’s GSD, then disappearing long enough for the dog to forget about the cat. Attacks from nowhere were his forte’.
