They know who the problem students are.
Let them remain until the end of this semester. Then write them a letter and tell them not to return.
Then start a campaign to replace them with new students and move on.
In the new bylaws, simply tell the students, “This is a university. If you are here to study, get good grades, and prepare for the future, we want you. If you are here with a social agenda that will take up most of your time, consider this your only warning.”
Evergreen doesn’t give grades. The “professors” give “meaningful feedback.”
