don't worry,Europe....china will faithfully abide by every requirement of the accord.
To: Dave346
we firmly believe that the Paris Agreement cannot be renegotiated It was not a treaty. It has no force of a treaty. It lived because Obama agreed to an accord with no force of law. It died because Trump said we were out of the accord.
What is really amusing is European nations that abide by the treaty will be at a competitive disadvantage in the market place due to the high cost of their energy under the Paris Accords. Their industries will then plead for subsidies from their governments. They will probably get them. Subsidies are not picked off the wonderful subsidy tree that is free. They come from the tax payer. The tax payers in Europe are going to take it in the butt. They deserve it!

Nest Washington State’s Marxist Attorney General, Bob Ferguson, will announce a lawsuit against the Trump Administration for illegally pulling out of the Paris Climate Accord. The lawsuit will be upheld by Judge James L. Robart.

France, Germany, Italy, and other developed countries are going to have to greatly enhance their own contributions to make up the U.S. portion (some say expected to be as high as 75% of the total) if the $100 billion dollars per year financial commitment.
Developed countries have not met their commitments. In their reports a lot of their commitment is in the form of development aid. That doesnt meet the commitment to contribute to new funds. A lot of countries dont want to chip in. I said to the European minister: thats your problem as developed countries. Its your responsibility to work together and sort it out.

lol, yep - alternatively, this must mean Obama gave up our sovereignty and is guilty of treason!!
So we either do what we want or Obama goes to jail.

Still waiting for PROOF that this treaty/agreement/fantasy will actually help the planet and isn’t just a redistribution scheme.

Serious question for Freepers: I keep hearing the figure of $100 Billion dollars....has ANYONE involved with this debacle given a breakdown of what this money will ACTUALLY be used for?

HaH - that Chinaman's got their number - bottom line it's a racket to drain our wealth for the benefit of the Euro-hucksters for nothing in return. Whether it worked or not depended on if we were foolish enough to go along with the scam.

"We deem the momentum generated in Paris in December 2015 irreversible and we firmly believe that the Paris Agreement cannot be renegotiated, since it is a vital instrument for our planet, societies and economies," the leaders of the three countries said in a joint statement. We are already in the "He'll come crawling back." phase of the breakup.

Good. As the EU hamstrings their economies the US will be able to run full steam ahead without restriction. And we will develop and sell them all our “green” energy technologies.
