Al Franken May Have Won His Senate Seat Through Voter Fraud (FLASHBACK)
U.S. News and World Report ^ | July 20, 2010 | Peter Roff

It looks increasingly likely that at least one member of the United States Senate may owe his seat in the world’s greatest deliberative body not to his charisma or the persuasiveness of his message but to voter fraud.

As the Wall Street Journal's John Fund reports, Minnesota Democrat Al Franken’s narrow, 312-vote victory in 2008 over incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman may have come as the result of people being allowed to vote who, under existing law, shouldn’t have been.

Frankenfraud’s victory was through the crooked courts and his stolen seat was part of the Rats’ 60 member majority that passed Obamacare without reading it.

We’ve known this for years. His opponent, Norm Coleman, was weak and refused to challenge the result.

“may” seems to be the wrong word in the headline.

Of COURSE he did, but noone was doing anything about political crime during those years.

Trump just got started.

I am SO looking forward (and enjoying immensely right now .. ) to his Presidency.

I live in Minnesota.

Norm Coleman ran one of the worst campaigns I’ve ever seen. it. The tone of his campaign was much like that of his six years in the Senate - empty and shallow. Even before his re-election campaign, you never saw him out there shaking hands and just hob-nobbing with voters.

Now I really do not care for Amy Klobuchar (our other Senator) but she’s always in the news - showing up at the State Fair, doing consituent efforts that gain favorable press, etc.

Many voters remember that. That remember when “Gosh, do you remember when Amy Klobuchar showed up to award old Joe McHenry the Silver Star he never got in Korea?”

If Coleman had put 1/4 of the effort into his re-election as Klobuchar did, he’d have won hands-down over Franken. That election, even here in liberal Minnesota, should never have been close.

True. Coleman is lucky that he faced Walter Mondale in 2002 other than Paul Wellstone, who died in a plane crash like Mel Carnahan in Missouri in 2000.

Wellstone, had he lived, would have beaten Coleman badly. Coleman was always a weak senator. Few bills into law.

>> His opponent, Norm Coleman, was weak and refused to challenge the result. <<

Actually, Coleman challenged Franken's "victory" for months afterwards, and even managed to delay that scumbag from being seated as a "Senator" for several months after the new session started. Both the Governor and the SOS also refused to sign Franken's certified "victory" after he mysteriously "won" due to "newly discovered ballots" being added to the totals during the third recount. It was only after the RAT controlled Minnesota Supreme Court ORDERED the state acknowledge Franken as the "winner" that Coleman threw in the towel.

Numerous "conservative" FReepers refused to lift a finger to help Coleman though, and sneered that he was a "RINO" who "deserves to lose" because only voted the way they wanted 80% of the time. As a result, they got a drug addled marxist Senator who votes the way they want 0% of the time.

Your history revisionism take on the whole episode is interesting.

Norm Coleman is a POS open borders Bushie. Now that I have checked his background, he is another Paul Ryan. F him.

” Previously a member of the Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party”

Now a lobbyist.

Double F him!

He won his seat by only 312 votes? Funny, how they “found” 300 votes for Franken in the trunk of a car, all mysteriously voting 100% for Franken. Of course, there is no other explanation, CHEATED BIG TIME!

Well, I stand corrected. However, if he’d been conservative enough to win more loyalty from Republican voters, it may not have been such a close election.

If you look at any Dems they have to use fraud to win. Connecticut's governor Danelle Malloy won because they found ballots in a trunk of a car. It's amazing that when you find ballots in a car, it is 100% Dems votes. Are Republicans careful with their ballots? 😀

B-b-b-but people like Jake Tapper and Chuckie Schumer say that voter fraud is a myth! You mean they weren't telling the truth?

Welcome to “winning by losing” hivethink. What a winning strategy, huh?

Your dark place is getting darker...:)

What’s sad is, putting politics aside, if she lost 60 pounds, she’d be very attractive. She’s not ugly...at least until she starts blathering.
