‘How Much Crow Are You Going To Eat?’ John Sununu Owns CNN’s Camerota … On CNN

John Sununu blasted the media on CNN’s New Day on Tuesday over their coverage of the investigation into Russia’s alleged meddling in the 2016 presidential campaign.

Anchor Alisyn Camerota asked Sununu, “Is there anything about the Russian — investigation connected to the Trump campaign that troubles you?”

The former governor replied by going on the offensive against the media: “Yeah, but the reporting that’s taking place and the exaggeration of the veniality…look, it’s now seven months since the election; and to this day, no one has cited a single piece of evidence.”

The two then sparred over the recent report that Jared Kushner met with a Russian banker with close ties to Vladimir Putin.

“So Jared Kushner meeting with a major Russian banker…that has connections to Vladimir Putin — nothing to see there?,” Camerota wondered.

Sununu countered, in part, “I think there’s anything there…because during the ten weeks [of the transition], everybody is trying to meet somebody who is going to be in the administration — everybody who’s involved in business; everybody who is involved in politics — I can’t tell you how many people tried to meet with me.”

The CNN anchor asked a series of follow-up questions that put the Trump supporter in Kushner’s supposed position. The guest retorted, “Look, you’re asking hypotheticals on hypotheticals.” Camerota shot back, “I’m trying to actually take your temperature. I’m trying to gauge your comfort level with all of this.”

Sununu resumed his offensive on the media: “The only discomfort I have is with folks in the media trying to create a veniality without having the courage to specifically tell me what the veniality that I should concerned about is.”

“You should be concerned if there was collusion.” The guest replied, “I don’t see any evidence of collusion. Do you?” The CNN journalist responded, “No.”

Ladies and Gentlemen, why are we wasting time on this?

-- they consistently asked Trump for EVIDENCE that he was "wiretapped", yet MONTHS into this Russiagate, they have ZERO evidence of all this collusion. --

I thought it was pretty funny when Sununu asked her ...

SUNUNU: I don't -- I don't see any evidence of collusion. Do you?
CAMEROTA: No. That's what -- that -- but --

CNN Transcript - May 30, 2017 - 08:3o ET

Why didn't she claim that the January ODNI report was evidence of collusion, or that the Kushner meeting that triggered the exchange was evidence of collusion? I mean, her claims don't have to hold water. But no, she tripped herself up and admitted she saw no evidence of collusion.

Cuomo closed the segment.

CHRIS CUOMO: They're certainly doing a better job coordinating messaging on how to deal with the investigation. Governor Sununu, always a capable mind and a good political debater to be sure.

Alisyn Camerota - another empty-headed bimbo with the principles of a block of wood.

On Fox News, she was paid to be a Conservative voice. CNN gives her more money and so she becomes a Liberal voice. No mirrors in her house.

So there are still some people on CNN pretending they are not an arm of the DNC? They must think their viewers are blind and gullible.

A “Venial” sin is a very small sin....and I think that’s the context he’s using.

I don’t agree that it’s all about Hillary losing. It’s also about them trying to stop Trump’s agenda.

Did Sununu spell it or the reporter?

“Veniality” usually connotes the quality of being pardonable, not mortal. In context, though, I think he was asking “where’s the corruption?”, since the interviewer kept on hinting that there is a lot of it, somewhere, somehow.

CNN colluded with the Hillary campaign by giving her debate questions and by squeezing out Bernie who was gaining on her.

Phonetically, he said “VEE nee al”, three syllables, clear as can be. I think the transcriptionist was faithful to what Sununu said. I suppose it is arguable what he meant, but no matter in context. He was asking for some wrong to be identified, and CNN came up blank.

Isn’t it interesting how these infobabes change their outlook on life as they change channels?

Good afternoon.

Santana tried to influence a presidential election by invading Texas.

Was it Polk? Senior moment...

They are ACTORS, playing a role. They are scripted, literally. They either follow the director's orders, or the director will find a different actor.

Seems to be that the *old dogs of the GOP* are coming out of the woodwork and showing the newly minted RINOS what for.

D Rumsfeld schools ‘View’ hosts, uses just 2 words to shut up Behar

Good for them.

“HOW MUCH CROW ARE YOU GOING TO EAT??”

Should be the White House’s new mantra, including tee shirts and bumper stickers, for all WH staff.

I liked her when she was on Fox and Friends. She was a female version of Brian Kilmeade (humor-wise).

FNC is infested with them and always has been but Ailes kept them in check. With him gone they are like drunken teenagers throwing a party because the parents have went out of town on vacation. The destruction caused by the liberal Murdoch half-wits is going to be unrecoverable for FNC

I don’t agree that it’s all about Hillary losing. It’s also about them trying to stop Trump’s agenda.

That plus keeping all focus away from the crimes committed by the Obama administration. They really thought Hillary would win and that would all be covered up. They never bothered to sufficiently eliminate evidence for that reason and are now terrified of exposure. They need to keep the focus on the Russian collusion, then whatever they can come up with after that and then after that, etc. as each strategy fails.

I have trust that the Trump administration has some bombshells coming up, or failing that, will keep things close to the vest and quietly approach the harshest detractors with incontrovertible evidence of their wrong doing and tell them to back off or it goes public - Democrat and Republican alike.
