Please pray for my Dad. He's in the ICU with pneumonia and fluid around his hear and lungs. They're going to drain the fluid, but I have no idea how things will go after that.
They had him on antibiotics for the pneumonia, and hopefully, they'll continue those.
Please, God, let my Dad live out the rest of his long life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

I’m sorry for all his tribulations. Prayers up. For you too, I know this totally preoccupies your heart. My dad was very bad off before he left us in 2016.

My Dad passed away today after his six-week battle with lung cancer. I hope to see him again in Heaven. His last words to me, sent in a text yesterday, were “still fighting.”
He was to be admitted to the hospital yesterday afternoon, due to extreme weakness and dehydration. However, he collapsed at the Anne Arundel medical center. He briefly lost his pulse, but was resuscitated and immediately rushed to the hospital. He never regained consciousness, but before he collapsed, he kept repeating that he did not want extreme measures to keep him alive, so we respected his wishes. He passed away today, about 24 hours after he collapsed.
We pray to God for the outcomes that we want, but sometimes, sadly, the answer is no. He does things in His own way. Now Dad is with Him.

You’ll miss your Dad, but you will never forget his fighting spirit.

Your Dad also made sure he had accomplished his life’s most important mission—he came to a saving grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.
He is more alive now than when he was on earth.
And when he looks over his life on earth, he will ne most proud of having a son like you.
