“If we look hard enough” ???
The communists were approached by Ted Kennedy to fight Reagan’s policies.
Kerry negotiated WITH the North Vietnamese WHILE Kissinger faced them in Paris to end the Vietnamese War.
Several democrat Senators met the Nicaraguan communist presidents and leaders to coordinate fighting the Sandinista’s and assist the Communists.

The ONLY thing today’s Democrats despise Russia for is that it is not communist enough!

The part most worrying is that the Russians are not our friends, but will seem increasingly attractive as our own society whirls out of control. I spent time in the USSR and become very familiar with the history of Russia. They are not like us.

The Soviets/Russians/KGB are the best at “Dizinformatia” and other propaganda operations. Here’s a paragraph from “Soviet Covert Action (The Forgery Offensive)”, Hearings, Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, House of Representatives, Subcommittee on Oversight, 96th Congress, 2nd Session, Feb. 6, 19, 1980, p. 6.

“Active measures encompass a range of activities, the most important of which include the following: written and oral “disinformation”; forgeries, false rumors; “Gray”; unattributed; and “black”;: falsely attributed propaganda; manipulation and control of foreign media assets, manipulative political action and the use of “agents-of-influence” operations, clandestine radio stations, use of foreign Communist Parties and international front groups for pursuing Soviet foreign policy objectives, support for international revolutionary and terrorist organizations, the so-called national liberation movements, and even political blackmail and kidnaping.”

The followup hearing was “Soviet Active Measures”, hearings, Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, House of Representatives, 97th Congress, 2nd Session, July 13, 14, 1982.

Roy Godson also wrote/co-edited a major book on “Disinformation” back in the 1980s.

And don’t think that the reds don’t/didn’t have their assets planted in the US Congress. Just look at the statements of Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich) and identified CPUSA member Rep. George Crockett Jr (D-Mich), when a vote of about 378 to 2 to condemn the Soviet Union for the cold blooded shooting down of Korean airplane KAL 007, took place. These two who voted against the resolution blamed the US and So. Korea for the shoot-down.

Conyers is an old red from at least the 1960’s if not earlier and Crockett was a Communist Party trusted lawyer in the Rosenberg trials.

Rep. Bella Abzug (D-NY was probably as KGB asset given her sudden rise in the Soviet front, the International Association of Democratic Lawyers.

Rep. Ron Dellums (D-Ca) had ties to the Cubans/DGI and their Marxist allies, the communist coup leaders of Maurice Bishop on the island of Grenada, 1982-83.

Now Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Ca) is a big supporter of Communist Cuba and the Castros (alive or dead).

Rep. Don Edwards (D-Ca) tried to get the US Govt to allow two identified and convicted Soviet spies (Martha Dodd and Alfred Stern) to come back to the US to die, without facing any outstanding (about 15) charges of treason and espionage. He was aided in this effort by Sylvia Crane, a longtime suspected secret member of the CPUSA and possible Soviet asset.

Sen. Alan Cranston (D-Ca) whose ties to the CPUSA and Soviet espionage/propaganda operatives went back as far as WW2, and then the communist-dominated Institute for Pacific Relations.

In 1934, the Soviets even bought a Democrat Congressman Emanuel Dickstein, which Dickstein later admitted.

Soviet/Russian “Disinformation” programs have been going on for almost 100 years, and you can find bits and pieces of them in the so-called “leading” American newspapers such as the New York Times and the Washington Post, if you know what to look for.

One day, if the FBI and CIA files are opened up for all to see, you will find some very “trusted” American newsmen and women as having been Soviet operatives.

I’m not buying this.

The Wikileaks source was Seth Rich, a whistleblower within the DNC who was angry over the DNC’s torpedoing of Betnie Sanders and the “anointing” of HRC.

A whistleblower with a passionate motive makes an extremely credible witness and the DNC had every incentive to discredit damaging information coming from Wikileaks.

What better way to discredit Wikileaks than to claim that the source was Russian propaganda?

The MSM was happy to sell the DNC cover story as long as it would hurt Trump who they hate with every fiber of their beings.

This article may offer a new twist - that the Russian propaganda was intended to hurt Trump, not HRC, or perhaps to hurt whoever became president. However, it still reinforces the DNC cover story that it was the Russians, not Seth Rich who was the Wikileaks source.

Don’t buy it folks. They are trying to throw us off the scent.

The source was Seth Rich.

Assange all but said so in his interview with Hannity when he said “Russia is not the source. The source was not a state player.”

Then he say “Whistleblowers go to significant efforts to get us material, often very significant risks. There’s a 27-year-old that works for the DNC who was shot in the back, murdered, just two weeks ago, for unknown reasons as he was walking down the street in Washington. So…”

Don’t buy this - it’s another trick to throw us off the scent.

Good question, and I don’t know the answer, but I suspect there are factions within CIA and the other agencies that are in continuous conflict. The baddies may be loyal only to their own progressivist agendas, like these federal so-called judges.

Why wouldn’t they enjoy it since it has given them exactly what they wanted- access and security for their fleet, capture of Ukraine’s fleet, and the end of meaningful missile defense in Eastern Europe?
