At Least Three Anti-Trump Leakers Identified, Referred to Proper Authorities, to Be Fired Soon
Breitbart ^ | Matthew Boyle

At least two separate news organizations are reporting that three distinct leakers have been identified at the White House and that President Donald Trump is expected to fire them when he returns from his first overseas trip. “CBS News has confirmed from two sources that three leakers of classified information at the White House have been identified and are expected to be fired,” CBS News reported this week, adding, “Officials within the Trump White House believe leaks of Mr. Trump’s conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov are a ‘deliberate attempt’ by officials who are holdovers from President Obama’s administration and are trying to damage the Trump presidency.”

Then I’m a traitor too because I think he’s being a lousy CEO. Anyone with any sense knows that the new boss has to get rid of all the old employees hired under the previous boss. Their allegiance is elsewhere. I’ve worked at companies when new management comes in. It doesn’t take long for them to clean house.

Agreed. Fire and then prosecute those traitors.

I was hoping they'd be taken away in handcuffs before President Trump returned to DC. Others who should go is anyone who had suspicions about whom the leakers are, but didn't report them.

President Trump needs a lean, mean inner circle that knows what the core policies of Deplorables are and aren't pushing any other agendae.

Do you have any idea how many people work for the US government? The State department alone has 12K civil service employees (not counting many more than that out in the field), the DOJ has well over 100K employees... and there are many more departments.

You can't just fire everyone day one and expect the country to still function... you have to take a top down approach to get proper leadership reestablished and work from there. Further complicating things is the reality that all the top positions have to get confirmed by the Senate.

Obama had 8 years to fully corrupt the place... and the place already had decades of rot in it when he started.

Its going to take some time to drain that swamp.

they can’t run to the 9th on this one, and no state has standing vs US.

All? Cleaning house is a trickle-down process, and there is an institutional part of the swamp that survives all the superficial politics, that is, that persists regardless of who is elected.

I'm not saying there shouldn't be more housecleaning, but he can't do all the firing personally and still attract and retain his own (loyal) management staff.

The bigger question is why were Obama appointees and affiliated Obama staff not identified during the transition and fired within an hour after the President took the oath of office. Those actions should have been the first step in fulfilling the campaign promise to drain the swamp.

Agree. I find it incredible that a total house cleaning wants done day one. why oh why would you leave members of the 'resistance" within the circle of trust that would have access to state secrets like talks with foreign heads of state, like the Philippines president, and the Russian ambassador ?

those were both leaked almost immediately, in detail, full transcripts. unbelievable. that is inexplicable and frankly extremely naive or stupid...... worries me about competence of Trump's staff.

So, two sources (i.e. leakers) talk about 3 other leakers getting fired.

3 isn't even a good start, but it is a start.

Good Hunting, Donald!

Thank you for an adult perspective on this. Trump has been in office for 4 months and so far has only had 39 nominees confirmed by the Senate as the anti-Trump foot-dragging continues. You need to get the key undersecretaries and deputies in place before serious housecleaning of the rank and file can commence in earnest, because while the Cabinet members are in charge of overall policy it's the second and third-tier appointees who run the bureaucracy. That's why these are critical appointments.

The swamp draining will be in phases and we're still early in Phase I. We've waited decades, we can have the patience to see this done properly.

I hope and pray the administration has hundreds of recess appointments ready to go. Trump will be into his second term before the government is filled out at the current pace.
